Former Labor minister Eddie Obeid has cost the most to taxpayers, with the legal bills totalling $1.3 million. Mr McDonald legal representation before the Commission also came with a $1.3 million bill. Labor MP Joe Tripodi and Liberal MP Chris Hartcher managed to accumulate a legal bill of more than $500,000 each, which NSW taxpayers have had to pay. There are also a number of MPs who have been before ICAC where a finding is yet to be handed down.
