Mr Lee will visit Canberra on Wednesday and Thursday for economic and security talks with Malcolm Turnbull and senior ministers. Australia is aiming to get its economic links with Singapore to be on par with that of New Zealand. Mr Turnbull said regional security was "more important than ever" and the Singapore-Australia relationship was critical to this."The relative peace and harmony in our region is the foundation upon which the greatest economic transformation in the history of mankind has been based," Mr Turnbull said.
