The Chinese government has long been paying great attention to the development of the digital economy which is regarded as a new engine for the nation economic growth, Xu Lin, director of the Cyberspace Administration of China, said in his speech during the ongoing third World Internet Conference WIC held in Wuzhen, East China Zhejiang Province. Since the rollout of the fourth-generation 4G telecoms network in 2013, China 4G user base had grown to 300 million by the end of 2015.
