administration officials: And indeed they may be, according to The Japan Times. But the generally modest growth over this period also reflects what has not been achieved under Abenomics. Since the boom cycle corresponds to the second administration of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who returned to the government's helm in December 2012, administration officials are touting the benefits of the extended boom, such as an improved job market and corporate earnings, as the fruits of the prime minister's trademark Abenomics policy. The nation's workforce has increased by 3.75 million during this boom cycle close to the number of jobs created during the asset-inflated bubble boom from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. Listed companies have been posting record profits for several years, and the Nikkei average on the Tokyo Stock Exchange has more than doubled. With brisk demand backed by strong corporate profits, combined with the intensifying manpower shortage in the rapidly graying population, the labor market is now the tightest it has been since the mid-1970s there is an average of more than 1.6 job openings for each job seeker.

conference room: Japan is attempting to compete with regional rivals including Macau, Singapore and South Korea with the planned casinos. ; Using an average-sized Japanese guest room of 50 square meters, such a hotel would necessitate 2,000 rooms, far exceeding the number of rooms at many of the largest hotels in the country, according to The Japan Times. Other requirements include an exhibition hall with at least 120,000 square meters or a conference room that can hold more than 6,000 people, or a hybrid design that would have both a 60,000-square-meter convention room and a conference room that holds 3,000 people. The requirements, including hotels with more than 100,000 square meters for guest rooms, would necessitate huge investments from local governments and facility operators, and were revealed by the government Friday. The largest exhibition floor space in Japan is at Tokyo Big Sight, with 95,000 square meters, and the largest conference halls, which are in Tokyo and Yokohama, hold around 5,000 people. Advertising for casinos outside the integrated resort will be limited to airports with international flights and terminals at ports. demand question: The Silicon Valley car maker appears to have abandoned the target of producing 10,000 vehicles a week at its Fremont, Calif., factory, the ISI Evercore analysts said, according to Market Watch. It guided instead to 7,000 vehicles a week by the end of the year and pushing the 10,000 goal sometime between fourth-quarter 2019 and second-quarter 2020 through a combined output from the Fremont plant and its Shanghai plant under construction, 7,000 units and 3,000 units respectively, they said. Tesla TSLA, 1.69% reported mixed quarterly results but showed it was leaving intensive care and as usual offering something for bulls and bears, analysts at ISI Evercore said in a note Thursday. Analysts at Goldman Sachs also focused on the demand question. At the low end, the guidance assumes no improvement from fourth quarter's delivery rate, as well as softer comments on Model S/X volumes heading into 2019, they said. The phasing-out of U.S. tax credits and the likely air pocket of demand beginning in the first quarter was apparent in the company's 2019 vehicle guidance, the Goldman analysts said.

He said that although Iran has the legitimate right to quit its commitments under the nuclear deal, Iran has responded positively and stuck to the terms of the deal to show its maximum flexibility and true belief in diplomacy rather than confrontation. But the world's ultra-rich are filling superyachts with so many masterpieces that conservationists are teaching captains and crew how to care for art as well as to pamper passengers. And the crew had made the damage worse by wiping them off the painting. As Trump works out the details of the Kim summit, he's thinking about adding a possible meeting with China's president to his itinerary. In the first-ever U.S.-North Korea summit last June in Singapore, Kim pledged to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula while Trump committed to providing security guarantees to Pyongyang. The White House hasn't released details on when Trump might meet Xi Jinping as the leaders try to settle a trade war between the economic powers, but Trump told reporters he's considering trying to see Xi when he's in Asia later this month for the expected North Korea talks.

In the House of Commons, MPs spend hours debating points of parliamentary procedure, but are unwilling to take real decisions about our country's future. It was something like 100m a vote they spent to get the DUP supporting them, so they already introduced that pork-barrel contractual politics. The shadow chancellor's accusation follows reports that the government is preparing to plough extra funding into deprived areas that supported leave, with the Nottinghamshire MP John Mann claiming that a set of job-creation measures targeted at former industrial towns would make it very difficult for Labour MPs in leave areas to vote against the deal unless they want a second referendum . However, the Redcar MP Anna Turley dismissed the offer of bribes or sweeteners which we know will make those constituencies worse off . Theresa May is trying to bribe the people of Redcar. I think it degrades our political system and to try and extend it in this way, I think it's dangerous for our democracy. It shouldn't be done in return for votes. So what most MPs have said is, actually if there is money there to spend on our constituencies, it should be done anyway.
